THE OPENING WITH CACAO WITH AIELETTE MARIS
We begin our gathering in sacred space, inviting stillness and intention through a gentle cacao ceremony. This heart-opening ritual is a chance to slow down, connect within, and arrive fully in your body.
We invite you in a tender, intentional space to open, ground, and feel. As the cacao and begins to stir your inner rhythm, we gently transition into freeform movement—letting the dance rise from the heart. Our cacao is based on oat milk/ water and we use biological cacao from Madagascar.
ABOUT DJ IRADI
When playing for a crowd, Iradi intuitively senses the audience and is alert and connected to the emotions that are brought in by the dancers.
Like a therapist, he tunes in, connects, follows and leads. He takes the dancers on a journey to places where they’ve never been before, seducing the audience to go further. always further into the mystery of the dance.
Iradi selects both bold and sublime musical choices that create a sound that isn’t easily labeled. He mixes all kinds of music into a fresh blend of unique beats, rhythms and melodies, creating a tapestry of music that is captivating, alluring, original and vibrant.
Traveling through various musical landscapes to guide and surprise the audience, Iradi knows how to engage the crowd while remaining in service to the dancer. Leave the mind behind and get the body alive!
Iradi has been involved with Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam since its inception in February 2012. He is in demand within the Ecstatic Dance Community in different countries around Europe as well as a resident DJ at the Dutch Nataraj parties.

Since 2019 Ecstatic Dance Arnhem is an invitation to move your body with the highest degree of freedom grounding in the present moment. Ecstatic Dance works without expectations and judgement. The music takes you on a journey to your natural higher self without taking substances. If you love to move and get unstuck our beautiful church dance-floor is waiting for you on Friday, the 22rd of August with DJ Iradi at our beautiful church dance floor in Schaarsbergen Arnhem. Two hours of dance are connecting you to your creative space of inner inspiration and intuition and to other people.
Our team of volunteers values consciousness, connection, inclusion and light-heartedness. Creating and holding a safe space we welcome you on our dance floor where every body is welcome – sober, silent and without the distraction of your phone. Our focus is on the music journey so that you dance your happy feat, sweating and unleashing the magic you are born to be. As soon as you enter the space you are a co-creater of a culture of support, inclusion and trust looking for consent and care where we look out for each other. We dance in connection with our self or invite other to dance together. Please bring your own filled and closed drinking-bottle.

OTHER PRACTICAL TIPS
- Please be on time. The Cacao Ceremony will start at 10:35. The door will close at 20:00 and we can not be on our phones inside.
- Come in easy-fitting clothes and, if necessary, bring a dry shirt and/or towel.
- Bring your own water bottle.
- Beyond our guidelines, attending the meeting is at your own risk. We therefore want to keep the responsibility with the participants. We assume that everyone can judge for themselves whether to participate responsibly or whether they belong to any "risk group".
- We trust that all participants have read the above guidelines and will handle them carefully with respect for themselves and others.
- Ticket price at location: 33 € cash (please have in mind that we might not have change)
- Door are closing at 20:00
